This tour is ideal for families, nature enthusiasts, and anyone interested in exploring the refuge’s wildlife. Occasional stops outside the van will allow for closer observation, so bring warm clothing and comfortable shoes. Binoculars and scopes are provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own for a personalized viewing experience. Hot beverages will be available to enjoy during the journey.

Super fun and well maintained area. Spotted quite a few alligators sunbathing along edge of the waters. For aviator lovers, this is your bird hot spot, we saw tons of unique and beautiful birds in the trees amd in the waters. Great wildlife environment and happy to have spent the day with my family exploring the area.
Just a beautiful drive on a 65-degree day in October 2025. Nature trails, beautiful scenery, alligators, plenty of birds. I spent about 2 hours 45 minutes driving through, with plenty of places to pull over and a couple of small walks.
Amazing. Even first week of November we saw five crocodiles… you have to walk or drive at three KM per hour and look out for them on the banks or swimming. We went between 10 and 11 o’clock when it was hot enough for them to sunbathe… also amazing for birds!
My husband and I spent about 3 hours here both at the center and the drive through. It was so nice to be able to drive through, get out and walk around, take pictures and really take in and enjoy the nature. Beautiful landscapes and birds to see. Spotted a few alligators as well! Highly recommended for nature enthusiasts and people looking for budget friendly activities while also getting to learn about nature preservation efforts in the area.
This is an awesome place to see wild alligators and have a chance to get close to them (safely!) We saw lots of gators and one of them just happened to be right there outside our window. They were very chill. Also saw lots of birds, turtles, and water snakes possibly. Super cool experience. And it’s a self guided driving tour which you can take your time to see everything at ease. I really love this place!
